It’s not a “one size fits all” approach
Special education takes an individualized approach to serving each student's unique needs, not a one-size-fits-all model. Eligible students have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and receive personalized instruction and support from specialists to facilitate learning in the least restrictive environment alongside peers. Special education does not follow a standardized curriculum, but rather customizes teaching, resources, and services tailored to each student's specific requirements. Families play an integral role in deciding what works best for their child's growth and success.
